Fraxel Technology

Fraxel treatments utilize the latest advancements in Laser Technology. The science behind Fraxel treatments involve the targeting of old and damaged skin cells just beneath the surface of the skin with pinpoint laser beams, creating microscopic perforations. These old and damaged skin cells are eliminated and the body’s natural healing process stimulates collagen and new skin cell production, which improves overall skin health. The results of such treatments produce healthier skin and contribute to a younger and smoother appearance.

The way your skin looks and feels is determined by your genetic make-up, lifestyle, and personal history. Our physicians can develop a personalized treatment plan to you fit your skin's unique needs. After treatment, patients should avoid direct exposer to sunlight for at least three months after their last treatment. Patients are recommended to utilize sunscreens containing an SPF rating of 30 or higher and the wearing wide brim hats for additional protection.

Fraxel treatments promote skin rejuvenation through the utilization of your skin's own natural healing process. Click on the videos on the left side of this page for additional information about the benefits of Fraxel, or contact our experienced dermatologists at Dermatologic Laser Center.
